Makes 2 dozen
INGREDIENTS
1 package (1/4 oz) active dry yeast
1-1/2 cups warm water (110-115 degrees F)
3-1/4 cupes all-purpose flour
1 package (9 oz.) yellow or white cake mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
Melted butter or margarine
WHAT TO DO
1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Beat in the flour, dry cake mix and salt (do not knead).
3. Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
4. Punch dough down. Divide in half.
5. Roll each portion into a 12-inch circle.
6. Cut each circle into 12 wedges.
7. Roll up, beginning at the wide end. Place pointy side down on greased baking sheets.
8. Brush with butter.
9. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 25 minutes.
10. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
